What Is Overage

Each plan includes a monthly conversation limit. Overage is what happens when you exceed that limit: depending on your plan, the chatbot either stops responding or charges you per additional conversation.

Starter 200 Hard stop → upgrade prompt
Advanced 700 Hard stop → upgrade prompt
Boost 2,000 Optional: stop or pay-per-use ✅ (opt-in)
2Performant 1,200 Always continues + charges ✅ (always)

Hard stop means the chatbot stops responding to new conversations. Existing conversations can still continue, but no new ones start.

For Boost users, you can enable overage billing via the "Enable automatic conversation-based billing" toggle on the Plans & Usage page.

For 2Performant users, overage is always enabled: the chatbot never stops.

Overage Pricing

When overage is active: $0.18 per additional conversation

Only conversations above your plan limit are charged. The fee is added to your next Stripe invoice automatically.
