Overview

Revenue Tracking connects your store sales data with Relio conversations. It shows you exactly how much revenue your AI assistant is generating, how many sales came through the chat, and where visitors drop off in the buying process.

Requirements

Revenue Tracking is available for Shopify and WooCommerce stores only. Stores using the scraper, Google Feed, or CSV import method will see a "Connect Store" prompt instead.

To enable revenue tracking:

  1. Connect your store via Shopify or WooCommerce integration
  2. Revenue data starts appearing automatically on your Dashboard

Revenue Card

The Revenue card on your Dashboard shows:

Metric Description
Total Revenue Combined revenue from orders attributed to Relio conversations
Sales Count Number of completed orders that originated from the chat
Average Order Value Total revenue divided by number of sales

Revenue is calculated from orders where the customer interacted with the Relio chat before purchasing.

Conversion Funnel

The Conversion Funnel on your Dashboard visualizes the full customer journey:

  1. Conversations - Total chat sessions started
  2. Clicks - Product links clicked in the chat
  3. Add to Carts - Products added to cart from the chat (Shopify/WooCommerce only)
  4. Sales - Completed orders attributed to Relio

Each step shows the count and the drop-off percentage compared to the previous step. This helps you identify where visitors lose interest and optimize your setup.

For example, if you see a big drop between Clicks and Add to Carts, your product pages might need improvement. If Conversations-to-Clicks is low, consider adjusting your chatbot personality or product count settings.

How Attribution Works

Relio tracks the visitor's session throughout their journey:

  1. Visitor opens the chat and interacts with product recommendations
  2. Visitor clicks a product link (tracked with UTM parameters and session ID)
  3. If the visitor completes a purchase on your store, the order is matched back to the Relio session
  4. Revenue is attributed to the conversation that generated the click

For Shopify and WooCommerce, this happens automatically through the store's order webhooks. No manual tagging or configuration is needed.
